Our Team

Dan went into private practice in 2002 to address the needs of local small businesses and landlords throughout central Indiana. The Dan’s practice quickly evolved from a single attorney handling housing law and consumer debt collection to the Sandlin Law Group and a team of legal professionals serving clients over a wide array of services such as personal injury, family law, estate planning, and criminal defense.

Dan earned his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University (Indianapolis) (BS ’95). He earned his law degree from the University of Toledo, College of Law (JD ‘2000). For over two decades he has been admitted for practice with the Indiana State Bar and the Southern Indiana District of the United States Federal District Courts.

Dan served in the Indiana Army National Guard and earned the rank of Captain. He is also a member and the former Vice President of the Indiana Creditor Bar Association. He is a member of the Hamilton County Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Indianapolis Bar Association.

Dan is proud native Hoosier and enjoys his free time on his farm with his wife and children in Westfield, Indiana.

Jeramy’s practice is focused mainly in the area of landlord/tenant law. He represents multiple property management companies and apartment communities in a variety of matters including evictions and collections. He also represents various other companies in collecting monies owed them, as well as replevin actions. Mr. Ferguson also has experience in corporate legal matters as while he was in law school he worked in the legal department of an international corporation. In connection with corporate legal matters, Mr. Ferguson provides immigration legal assistance to companies needing to prepare H-1B specialty employment visas on behalf of foreign national employees.

Jeramy is originally from Stewartstown, Pennsylvania. He attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate studies where he received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and American Studies. He took a break from his undergraduate studies to serve a two-year Hungarian speaking mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hungary. After graduating from BYU he returned to Hungary as a State Department intern at the US Embassy in Budapest.

Jeramy graduated from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of law in May 2014. While in law school, Jeramy served as President of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society student organization. He was a member of the Indiana Law Review and Dean’s Tutorial Society. He also participated in the civil practice clinic helping indigent clients with their various legal matters.

Jeramy currently resides in Noblesville, IN, with his wife Carolyn. They enjoy travelling the world together and spending time quietly on their porch when they aren’t travelling.

Robert Practices in the Areas of Landlord Tenant, Consumer Debt Collection, with a focus on handling the firms Litigation needs. Prior to working at Sandlin Law Group Robert worked for a Criminal Defense firm Located in Indianapolis.

Robert earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Western Illinois University before attending the Indiana University McKinney School of Law. Robert is admitted for practice in the State of Indiana and the Southern Indiana District of the United States Federal District Courts.

Robert is the 3rd in a line of “Robert James’” to practice law in Indianapolis. He currently Resides in Westfield with his Wife and two Siberian Huskies.

Jacob practices in the area of Consumer Debt Collection, Landlord Tenant Law, and Estate Planning. Prior to joining the Sandlin Law Group, Jacob worked in Constituent Relations for the Indiana Secretary of State Office.

Jacob earned his bachelor’s degree in public Heath from the University of Indianapolis (BS ’18 cum laude). He earned his law degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law (JD ’21). Jacob is a member of the Creditors Bar Association. He is admitted for practice with the Indiana State Bar and the Southern Indiana District of the United States Federal District Courts.

Jacob was born and raised in the great state of Indiana. He currently resides in Hamilton County with wife, children, and two dogs.

Barrie practices in the area of Landlord Tenant Law, Estate Planning, Commercial Law, and Criminal Defense. Prior to joining Sandlin Law Group, Barrie was a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Marion County.

Barrie earned his B.A. in Political Science from John Carroll University, and his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (cum laude). Barrie is a member of the Indiana Bar Association and National Lawyers Guild. Barrie is admitted for practice in the State of Indiana and the Southern Indiana District of the United States Federal District Courts.

Barrie is an Indiana native and can most often be found kayaking or at the stables.
